These maps, created in Python, show the differences in city planning between cities and suburban areas.
Contours
Topographic maps are beautiful yet incredibly utilitarian. Their ability to effectively show the change in elevation change makes them incredibly useful. However, I find these maps incredibly beautiful as they allow one to see earths natural patterns.
Biking Heat Map
This was a heat map I made using open-source Lyft Bike data. I find it so incredibly interesting that you can start to see the outline of San Francisco using just pads that bikes use.
